Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.
- What are some things that God considers before deciding that the two will make suitable partners?
- Is God able to work in connection with his ministering angels and spiritual agencies to connect two individuals who must join together in a marriage? Genesis 24:1-7
24 Abraham was now very old, and the Lord had blessed him in every way. 2 He said to the senior servant in his household, the one in charge of all that he had, “Put your hand under my thigh. 3 I want you to swear by the Lord, the God of heaven and the God of earth, that you will not get a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I am living, 4 but will go to my country and my own relatives and get a wife for my son Isaac.”
5 The servant asked him, “What if the woman is unwilling to come back with me to this land? Shall I then take your son back to the country you came from?”
6 “Make sure that you do not take my son back there,” Abraham said. 7 “The Lord, the God of heaven, who brought me out of my father’s household and my native land and who spoke to me and promised me on oath, saying, ‘To your offspring I will give this land’—he will send his angel before you so that you can get a wife for my son from there.

- Can you possibly want marriage more than the one who came up with the idea of marriage and instituted it?
- Can the covenant between the two, be destroyed by signing a piece of paper?
- When you leave your partner to be joined with another partner, what sin have you committed? Matthew 19:9
6 So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”
7 “Why then,” they asked, “did Moses command that a man give his wife a certificate of divorce and send her away?”
8 Jesus replied, “Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning. 9 I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.”
- When someone cheats in an exam, do they gain an unfair advantage over their peers?
- When a husband or wife sleeps with another person, do they gain an unfair advantage over their spouse?
- Is sleeping with another partner called cheating, gaining an unfair advantage over your spouse, or fornicating and adultery?
- Should the child of God allow the world to corrupt their terms and definitions?
- Has the person who commits adultery defiled the marriage covenant?
- Is divorce sinful?
- If divorce is sinful, why do many Believers so-called practice it?
- Can you marry a person who has been divorced? Matthew 5:32
But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, makes her the victim of adultery, and anyone who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.
- When you are getting married with the intent that when things go wrong you will leave your partner, do you respect the marriage covenant?
- When you are getting married with the intent that when things go wrong you will leave your partner, should you enter the marriage covenant in the first place?
